A rugged yet refined leather, our Rustico collection features a full body and heavy shrunken grain. This collection is tanned in Italy in small batches from full-grain Buffalo shoulders. Made to highlight the gorgeous character of full grain leather, Rustico leathers get their grain texture through a natural tumbling process which allows the leather to develop unique lines and grain depth. It is also vegetable-tanned and aniline dyed, which is the most natural method of adding color to leather, and one that leaves the natural leather surface and all its original markings completely visible. A hand glazed finish tops it off, for added shine and protection.
